Toyota 2023 review: It's all about mpg

The 2023 Toyota Sienna boasts fuel economy of 36 or 35 mpg, depending on AWD. The V6-powered engine returns 22 mpg combined.

With economical gas prices, the company offers savings of more than $1,000 per year over other Minis (or on large crossovers). These are the main reasons we consider the Sienna to be the best bet for a minivan.

However, not just one pony. She takes up a lot of space and loves her and her moms and dads at special occasions for their moms and kids. The Sienna's handling is also smoother than its competitors, while its premium content and space are similarly good. For people with special needs, reach your full potential in 2019. Fuel fuel is an atom.

So far, there's one contender we're going to give you more gas: the Chrysler '94 gives you a full-on performance that can make it more efficient and that's why we ultimately chose the Sienna as our top pick for the close-knit minivan in our Sienna vs Pacifica Hybrid comparison test. Either way, we'll look at both things first when looking for a minibus.

phenomenal fuel economy; The second row is suitable for older children; above average handling; and internal volume

Cons: Not as powerful as other minivans; more advanced information; Cheap interior materials in lower trims

What's new for 2023?

Minivan collectors rejoice! A Special 5th Anniversary Edition exterior has been added to the Sienna lineup for 2023. It is based on the XSE design level, features trim, and is only available in Sky Silver or Cool Pearl.

What does the Toyota 's interior and car technology look like?

Since then, the Kia Carnival has outdone it, but the Sienna's front end is still too sophisticated for a minivan. The controls are turned slightly towards the driver, while the high center console provides a more SUV or SUV feel. However, this console is really just a bridge over a vast open valley ready for whatever you want to put there (most likely a purse or a small diaper bag). There are a number of other useful places up front to stash things too, which we review in this in-depth review of the Sienna's internal storage..

Unfortunately, we found that cabin quality varies greatly by trim level. The upper trim levels XSE, Limited, and Platinum (top right and bottom right) get a quilted leather look across the doors and a modern wood trim level across the console. By contrast, the lower-level XLE (top left and bottom left) gets textured hard plastic instead of a quilted material and a rust-colored plastic trim with embossed lines and metallic spots. It looks cheap, and that's the difference between the Sienna being better than its competitors and being a little worse.

In terms of technology, all the usual features are available and the 9-inch touch screen can be seen, accessed and operated with ease. It has been outclassed by every competing system, especially Chrysler and Kia. The rear-seat entertainment system also offers a single, ceiling-mounted screen, versus the Chrysler's dual seatback screens, and its USB ports aren't as conveniently located as those on the Chrysler.

What is the size of Toyota ?

Sienna is comparable in size to other minivans. Good info is found in a nice place and space is in third place. Its specifications point to a difference in the way Toyota measures cargo capacity. In fact, you succeed at that thing.

Really, minivans are different in terms of second-row seating concepts. Sienna is a choice of two (which is very similar to the Kia Carnival). In the first half of the year, the series had a seven-figure price tag, and in higher trim levels with the new "Super Long Slide" second-row captain's seats, the number of seats increased on a wide range of products. They slide back, providing enough legroom for the NBA striker to rest and use. They're also farther forward all the way to the front seats, making them more likely to fit in while riding (while non-hybrid Chrysler Pacifica Stow 'N Go seats are more comfortable). Does printing, and augmentation tools.

There are several brands of Stow 'N Go (for businessmen who give a trade) and Honda's second row "Magic Slide" selection is good. This case refers to the concept of sienna.

What are the performance and fuel economy specifications of the Toyota ?

Every 2023 Toyota Sienna is a hybrid. There's a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors, plus a third added to create the available all-wheel drive system. Its battery takes power back from the brakes and engine (it's not a plug-in hybrid like the available Pacifica Hybrid model, which has an all-electric range and a higher price). Total system output is 245 horsepower, which is less than its V6-powered competitors.

However, fuel economy is dramatically better. Toyota estimates the Sienna will get 36 mpg with front-wheel drive in EPA testing and 35 mpg with AWD. The V6-powered Odyssey, Carnival, and Pacifica all get 22 mpg combined. Given today's high gas prices, that difference can equate to up to $1,000 in gas savings per year with a Sienna. Even if gas prices drop, you'll still be looking for a number in the hundreds. It is impossible to ignore.

What is the price of the Toyota 2023?

Sienna prices increase about $1,000 for 2023, including its more expensive destination charge of $1,335. The starting point is now $36,720, but before you get too upset about that, you should know that the Chrysler Pacifica and Honda Odyssey have similar starting prices. Only the Kia Carnival, which costs around $33,000, is certainly lower.

Despite being considered the "baseline" Sienna, though, the LE is more akin to the mid-grade trim levels of years past, so at least you're getting the right kind of gear for your price. In addition to increases in trim and higher-quality cabin materials (see Interior section above), there are a few key differences with trim levels. The XSE and 25th Anniversary Edition feature sportier styling and chassis tuning, while the Woodland features a modest increase in ground clearance and slightly more rugged styling cues. Note that pricing for the Woodland was not available at the time of writing, but Toyota has said it will be in production by 2023.

All prices below include the destination charge.

  • LE: $36,720

  • XLE: $42,030

  • Forest: Not available at this time

  • XSE: $44,280

  • 25th Anniversary Edition: $48,005

  • Limited: $48,980

  • Platinum: $52,180
